Captain Wilson Sheppard invites you to cruise Marina del Rey’s harbor aboard a 1959 custom-built sportboat, DreamBuilder.

Below are some of the attractions that makes Marina del Rey popular among locals and tourists alike.

BOATS / YACHTS:  According to its WikiPedia entry, Marina del Rey is “the world's largest man-made small craft harbor.” It is home to over 5000 boats ranging from small inflatable boats to multimillion dollar yachts. There are also a number of commercial dining, fishing, and government boats in the harbor.

LANDMARKS:  You will see Fisherman’s Village , a waterfront promenade inspired by a New England fishing village with a prominent lighthouse. You will also see Mother’s Beach, the only beach area located in Marina del Rey.

RECREATIONAL ACTIVITY:  With 400 acreas of well-protected waterways, Marina del Rey is ideal for watersports ranging from kayaking to stand-up paddleboarding. You may even see a class performing Paddleboard Yoga!

WILDLIFE:  It is common to see a variety of birds, including Pelicans, dive-bombing on bait fish. Sea lions are usually found lounging on docks throughout the marina.
